ATTENTION! Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed to order AP Exams. The entire process (both steps) can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes.

• Step 1 - Complete registration on Total Registration at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/395430. Use the same email address that you use with your College Board account. 
• Step 2 - Enroll all of your AP courses and exams in the College Board's MyAP system with the Join Codes you will receive at the end of this registration process (unless you have already done this).

Students taking AP courses/exams at Central York High School must enroll/register on Total Registration.

First semester and yearlong courses: Students must register for exams by November 05, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Registrations after this date will incur a $40 late fee per the College Board.

Second semester courses: Students must register for exams by March 04, 2027 at 11:59 PM. No late registrations will be accepted.

There is no cost for enrolling in AP courses, but the 2027 AP Exams cost $99 per exam.

A confirmation page will be sent to you to indicate when the first step has been completed. The confirmation page will include the information needed to complete the second step of enrolling courses/exams in the College Board's system, MyAP.CollegeBoard.org. This step should be completed right away as exams will NOT be ordered unless BOTH steps are completed.

Please take note of these important details:

1. If you have an IEP or 504 plan and receive any accommodations, please make sure you have completed the College Board’s accommodation approval process.  All accommodations must be approved by the College Board by April 16, 2027.  The College Board can take up to eight weeks to complete the approval process; therefore, please make sure your accommodations request is submitted by your school counselor by mid-February to meet this deadline.  Please see your school counselor for more information. 

2. If you have a schedule conflict with any AP exam (CYHS activities only, such as sporting events or other AP exams), please contact Mrs. Foery (jfoery@cysd.k12.pa.us) or Mrs. Utter (cutter@cysd.k12.pa.us) as soon as possible so an alternate exam date can be scheduled through College Board. 

3. If you are sick and unable to attend school on a scheduled exam date, please notify Mrs. Foery or Mrs. Utter as soon as possible so an alternate exam date can be scheduled through College Board. A doctor’s note will be required. 

4. If you decide to cancel an exam, please do so on the Total Registration website by Friday, April 30, 2027 to be eligible for a partial refund of $59. College Board is still owed a $40 deposit for each exam. Exam registrations that are canceled prior to the deadline (November 5 for first semester and yearlong courses; March 4 for second semester courses) will receive a full refund.

5. Students who are eligible for a College Board test fee reduction (based on family income) will be able to indicate this when registering.  After the fee reduction, the cost of each exam is $53 instead of $99.

Central York High School is excited to offer families the ability to pay their exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration.

AP exams registrations that are not fully paid by Thursday, March 4, 2027 will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.
