Only Hillsborough HS Students, SCVTHS students who reside in Hillsborough, and homeschooled students who reside in Hillsborough may test at Hillsborough High School. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

If you do not register and pay for your AP Exam(s) on Total Registration and join the corresponding AP Classrooms, an AP exam WILL NOT be ordered for you, and you WILL NOT test in May 2026.  

ATTENTION! Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed to access the AP Classroom resources and/or order AP Exams. The entire process (both steps) can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes.

1. Complete the registration process that starts below.
2. Enroll all your AP courses and exams in the College Board's MyAP system with the Join Codes you will receive at the end of this registration process. You will only need to do this if you have not already completed the process in your AP class with your AP Teacher or if you are not enrolled in the course at HHS. **This is slightly different from previous years**

A confirmation page indicates that the first step has been completed. The confirmation page will include the information needed to complete the second step of enrolling courses/exams in the College Board's system, myap.collegeboard.org. This step should be completed right away as exams will not be ordered if both steps are not completed..You will only need to do this if you have not already completed the process in your AP class with your AP Teacher or if you are not enrolled in the course at HHS.

Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Online payment is preferred, but payment by mail is also permitted.

Exam Costs: Exam costs start at $110 per exam per exam. There are additional charges for students who are not enrolled in the course at HHS and students who do not attend HHS.

AP Exam Registration Timeline:

• Regular Registration Deadline: 11:59 pm, November 4, 2025 . Payment Deadline: Friday, November 7, 2025
• Late Registration: November 5, 2025 - March 2, 2026 (Late Registration Fee: $50 per exam)
• Full Refunds Through: November 13, 2025
• Partial Refunds Through: April 20, 2026 ($50 cancellation fee witheld per exam. Students paying a reduced fee of less than this amount are not eligible for a refund)
