ATTENTION!  Registering for AP exams is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed in order to take an AP exam in May.  The registration process is outlined below.  Information regarding this process has been provided to students, shared with families via ParentSquare and is also available on the AP Canvas course.  Both steps can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes, in either order or independently of each other. 

STEP ONE:  Joining Your AP Class Section -- Students will enroll in their AP courses in the College Board's MYAP system with the join codes provided to the student by their AP teacher.  Most students complete this step as part of their AP course.  If you do not have the join code, contact your AP teacher.  If you are planning to self-study for an exam, get the join code from the Testing Office, located in the Media Center.

STEP TWO: Paying for AP Exams -- Complete the registration process that starts below in Total Registration and submit payment for exams.

Wayzata High School has partnered with Total Registration to offer families the ability to pay their exam fees online.  Exams cannot be ordered until payment is recieved.  Be sure to have a credit card or debit card available begore beginning STEP TWO of the registration process.  

Not sure you have completed both steps?  Student's can log into their College Board account (MyAP) to see the courses they have joined.  A confirmation page from Total Registration indicates that you have paid for the exam.  

AP Exam Registration Timeline:

AP exams registrations that are not fully paid by Monday, March 15, 2027 will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.
