READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE PROCEEDING!!!

ATTENTION! Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a three-step process and both steps MUST be completed to access the AP Classroom resources and order AP Exams. The entire process (both steps) can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes.

1. Complete the registration questionnaire that starts below.  This has you providing relevant contact information for students and parents. 
2. You pay for the exam.    
   • If you do not qualify for free/reduced lunch meals benefits, you can pay immediately after complete Step 1. 
   • If you do qualify for free/reduced lunch meals benefits and wish the lower price, you will NOT be able to pay for your exam right away as well as paying for the exams.  You will get a message saying you are in an approval queue and are awaiting approval.  The approval process can take up to a week to complete.  Please wait patiently.  Once you are confirmed, you will get an email from the registration system saying you are approved.  This means you can log back into the registration system and pay.  Your bill will reflect the accurate price.   
3. Once paid, you need to make sure you have enrolled in the College Board's MyAP system (at myap.collegeboard.org) with the join codes you will receive at the end of this registration process.  This is to be done by the student on their account.  It is possible your student is already enrolled in these courses in this platform if their teacher already had students do this in class.  

Students taking AP exams at Hopkins High School must register here by October 22, 2025 for classes that started during term 1 or for independent study courses.  If you are enrolled in AP classes that start in term 2 or 3, you will register in February 2026 for those exams. 

Hopkins 2026 AP Exams cost $77/exam or $40/exam (if you qualify for free/reduced lunch or meals benefits).  Each person will be charged a one-time $2 processing fee.

You MUST complete the payment by the final date of the registration period, which is October 22, 2025.  If you have not completed the payment by this date, your registration will be cancelled or you will have to pay additional late fees.  Late fees are $50/exam.  

If you are someone who is requesting the $40/exam price because you qualify for free/reduced lunch meals benefits, YOU MUST complete Step 1 of the registration process in the first 3-5 days of the registration period.  If you wait until a few days prior to the end of the registration period, it is likely you will not get verified in time and will not be able to pay by the final date deadline.  This will result in you not being able to register or having to pay the full price for the exam.  Please plan accordingly.  

After payment, you will see a confirmation page. The confirmation page will confirm your registration and payment and completion of Steps 1 and 2.  It will also include information needed to complete Step 3, if this has not already been done by students in their classes with teachers.
