San Marino High School's AP Policy

Students who take an AP exam, but are not enrolled in the course at SMHS, are advised that they will not be permitted to take the AP class at SMHS in the future and MUST complete a WAIVER.  Please submit the signed waiver to Mrs. Cribbs in the Counseling Office. 

9th grade students are not permitted to take the AP Biology exam if they are NOT already in regular biology, doing so would prevent them from graduating from SMHS. See any counselor for further explanation of graduation policies.

Students taking AP exams Off-Campus must notify Mrs. Cribbs to make arrangements to obtain their Student Booklet. 

Only approved calculators may be used during exams. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of the start time for the exam, students will not be permitted into the testing room once the test instructions have begun. No refunds are given to students who arrive late and are not able to take the exam.

Important, you will NOT BE admitted to the test room without a valid student indentification.   Do not bring cell phones into the testing rooms.  Cell phones will be confiscated and exam scores cancelled if this instruction is not followed.
