East Hampton High School's AP Policy

East Hampton High School Advanced Placement Exam Information

AP exams will be administered at the EHHS unless otherwise noted.  

All morning exams will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.

All afternoon exams will begin promptly at 12:00 pm.

Students with approved SSD accommodations will be provided with such accommodations and tested in a separate location unless written notification is provided in advance to waive accommodations.  Please see your counselor to apply for SSD accommodations.  An active IEP or 504 plan is required.

Students should bring the following items to all exams:

• Sharpened No. 2 pencils
• Pens with black or dark blue ink
• Calculator (for Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics)                                                                                                                                                     

Items not permitted into the exam rooms:

• Cell phones, iPods, iPads, laptops, or any electronic device
• Watches with alarms
• Food and backpacks must remain in the front of the testing room                                  

Any student observed to be using a cell phone during testing or during a scheduled test break will be removed from testing and their scores will be cancelled.
