AP Policies

Students and Parents,

This year, most AP testing will be completed at Midway High School.  In preparation for the exams which will begin in May, please read the following AP Policies that will be enforced my Midway ISD.

1.       Make sure you show up early on exam days.

2.       Cell phones, iPads, other electronic devices, food, drinks and backpacks are not allowed in the testing room.  We are testing at Region 12 and we will not have enough staff to monitor your personal items that will be stored in the hallway.  We recommend that you bring only the necessities needed for testing.

3.       The following items will NOT be allowed into the testing room.  This is a College Board Policy and it will be strictly adhered to.

a.       Mechanical Pencils

b.      Highlighters

c.       Books (including dictionaries)

d.      Compasses

e.      Notes

f.        Colored Pencils

g.       Correction Fluid/Tape

4.       If you are scheduled to take an afternoon exam or you are scheduled to take 2 exams in one day, you will need to bring a sack lunch.  You will have time to eat between tests, but a meal will not be provided for you.

5.       Water and a small snack will be provided to each tester during the 10 minute scheduled break during each exam.

6.       It is recommended that you bring a sweater or a jacket with you on test day.
