What You Need to Know About Devices:

  • If you are taking a Fully Digital or Hybrid Digital exam, you must bring your school-issued laptop to your exam room.
  • Loaners will be available only on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritized for students who experience technical issues with their devices.
  • There will be no extra chargers available, and seating next to outlets will be very limited. You are expected to arrive with your device fully charged. Outlet use will be prioritized for students taking back-to-back exams.
  • Check that the Bluebook app is installed on your laptop. Open the app and attempt to log in before exam day to initiate any necessary updates.
  • If you do not have the app installed, you can download it here without needing administrator approval: https://bluebook.app.collegeboard.org
  • Downloading or updating the app in the exam room could delay your start and end time, so be sure to do this before arriving.

Login Information:

  • Proctors, teachers, and the AP Coordinator do not have access to your College Board login information and cannot reset passwords.
  • Saved passwords cannot be used in the Bluebook app, and you will not have access to your phone during the exam to check your notes app.
  • Attempt to log in before exam day to ensure you know your username and password.
  • If you used your school email for your College Board account, password reset emails will be blocked by the spam filter. In that case, you must call College Board at 888-225-5427 (Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. ET) to reset your password.
