Classical Academy High School's AP Policy

Please be aware of the AP exam policies and rules set forth by this school and CollegeBoard:

  • No students will be allowed admittance to exam rooms once the exam has officially started.
  • During scheduled or unscheduled breaks during exams, students are not allowed to consult textbooks, notes, or ask questions to teachers or other students. No electronic or communication devices are permitted during the exam or during breaks. If you are caught with a prohibited device during the exam or on a break you will be dismissed immediately and your exam will be cancelled.
  • Do not leave the building during the exam.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM:

  • School-provided Chromebook that is fully charged
  • CollegeBoard account login information to login to the Bluebook app
  • No. 2 pencils
  • Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free-response questions in most exams.
  • Snack & water
  • Optional: Handheld Calculator - If you are allowed to use a calculator on your AP Exam, review the College Board’s calculator policies to make sure you bring an approved calculator for your particular exam. Only certain AP Exams allow for handheld calculator usage. The Bluebook app includes an embedded Desmos calculator on many exams as well.

WHAT NOT TO BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM:

  • Electronic equipment or communication devices, like cell phones, smartphones, tablets or anything else that can access the internet. No bluetooth headphones are allowed.
  • Cameras or other photographic equipment.
  • Watches that beep or have an alarm (or smart watches).
  • Mechanical pencils.
