MORNING EXAMS: Examinees must arrive by 7:30am (unless otherwise indicated). Once the doors to the testing room are closed, students arriving late WILL NOT test and are not eligible for make-up testing or a refund. Bus riding students MUST make other arrangements as buses will not arrive in time for the AP exam administration.
AFTERNOON EXAMS: Examinees must arrive by 12:00pm (unless otherwise indicated). Once the doors to the testing room are closed, students arriving late WILL NOT test and are not eligible for make-up testing or a refund.
Learners will not be allowed entry into the testing facility without a photo ID, and MUST bring #2 pencils (NOT mechanical), pens, and calculator (if appropriate). Calculators will not be provided by the testing site, thus ONLY CHS approved calculator will be allowed by the examinee.
Examinees will not be allowed to bring backpacks, cell phones, iPad or other technology into the testing room.
ABSENT FROM EXAM: Eligibility for a late exam is not guaranteed and is subject to a review and approval process. A student absent because of a serious or life-threatening illness or related treatment must provide,within 24 hours of the exam, an original physical certification from a physician licensed to practice in Texas specifying the student’s illness and the anticipated period of absence related to the illness or treatment on the district’s form. A parent may access the required form by contacting the school’s front office. Emails will NOT be accepted. Please make other arrangements to store items. Only UIL approved activites/competitions are eligible for consideration for late testing. All other non-UIL governed activites, clubs, organizations, etc. that conflict with the administration of an AP exam are NOT eligible for late AP exam review or administration.
