AP Exam Attendance & Late Testing Policy

Students are expected to take their AP exam on the scheduled exam date and time.

If you know that you will be unable to attend a scheduled AP exam, it is your responsibility to contact the AP Coordinator as soon as possible. Late testing is not automatically available. Students must notify the AP Coordinator immediately if they are unable to attend their scheduled exam. 

Late testing is permitted only for circumstances that meet College Board guidelines for late testing. Personal scheduling conflicts such as vacations, college visits, work, athletic practices, or other activities are not considered reasons to move an AP exam to a late-testing date.

If an absence is related to illness or another health concern, Hastings High School reserves the right to request medical documentation before approving a late-testing request.
