Bridgeland High School's AP Policy

**For exams administered in the afternoon, please make appropriate arrangements for getting home as the exams go beyond the end of the school day.**
Please be aware of the AP exam policies and rules set forth by this school and the College Board:
- No student will be allowed admittance to exam rooms once exam has started
- Must fully charge their district issued 1:1 Chromebook the night before an exam. Student must bring the charged Chromebook and charger on test day.
- Student must complete Chromebook and Bluebook updates prior to test day.
- Student must properly logout of the 1:1 Chromebook before the AP exam.
- Chromebook issues must be resolved before test day. Properly report an issue at least two weeks before the exam (CFISD LTE 1:1 Reporting Chromebook Issues). Your campus tech liaisons need sufficient time to remedy each documented request.
- During exams, scheduled and/or unscheduled breaks, students are not allowed to access or consult textbooks, notes, or ask questions to teachers or other students. Do not access or use personal electronics, communication apps or communication devices. Must disable all bluetooth and A.I. capabilities and/or access, etc.
- Do not leave the building during the exam.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM:
- No. 2 pencils (no mechanical) for multiple-choice answer sheet
- Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free-response questions
- Government-issued or school-issued photo I.D.
- Calculators: If an AP Exam allows a calculator, students may use the digital calculator, Desmos, and/or bring a College Board acceptable calculator. Students are responsibile for reviewing and abiding by College Board's calculator policies. Only College Board acceptable calculators will be allowed for said exam/s.
- 1:1 Chromebook (properly updated) AND charger for digital exam/s. Student must close all apps, disable all bluetooth and A.I. capabilities and/or access, etc...
In addition, WHAT NOT TO BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM:
- Electronic equipment or communication devices like, but not limited to, cell phones, smartwatches, smartglasses, tablets, earbuds or anything that can access the internet or A.I. and/or has bluetooth capabilities, etc.
- Cameras, smartglasses, smartwatches or other photographic equipment or capabilities
- Watches that beep or have an alarm (including smartwatches)
- No food or drink in the exam room, including bottled water
