Full refunds are provided for exams canceled by 11/3/2023 at midnight.  Exams canceled between 11/4/2023 and 01/30/2024 midnight are eligible for a $55 refund for each exam canceled.   No refunds are granted for any exams canceled after 01/30/2024.

Steps Necessary to Register and Purchase your AP Tests

  1. Students will need to register on the College Board website. In order to register, students must use the unique join codes you received from your AP teachers. You will need a personal email for each student account (it is not recommended to use PUSD Gmail accounts). Each teacher and each teacher’s period has a specific join code for the course AP exam. If you don't already have a College Board account, you will need to make one. If you plan to take multiple AP exams, you will need a specific join code per course per teacher per period.

  2. Students must also pay for the exam on the Total Registration site, www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/052495.  Follow the PUSD registration flowchart to ensure your registration is complete.  If you already created an account last year, please use the same account log in and email.

AP Exam Information

  • If two exams are given at the same time, we will notify the student which exam will be taken during the regular testing window and which exam will be taken during the alternate testing window.

  • Conflicts must be pre-approved for late testing and a late fee will apply. Requests can be made through https://tinyurl.com/PUSDlateAP

  • Students qualifying for the free/reduced lunch program are eligible for a fee waiver.  Be able to provide your “official” PUSD fee waiver approval form from PUSD Child Food and Nutrition Services.

  • Specifics around room assignments, arrival times, and testing materials will be provided prior to the AP exam testing window.

Make-up (late) testing will occur May 22-24, 2024.  If a student is unable to sit for their exam, it is the student's responsibility to communicate with their AP Coordinator before the exam start time to request a make-up exam.  Make up exams are not guaranteed and may require a doctor's note.
