Foothill High School's AP Policy

• The priority registration period for AP Exams is from Monday, October 5, 2026 (8:00 AM) through Friday, November 6, 2026 (11:59pm).  

•   Late registrations will be accepted from Saturday, November 7, 2026 to Sunday, January 31st, 2027 (11:59pm) with a $60 late fee per AP exam. This the FINAL deadline to register for AP Exams. No registrations will be accepted after Sunday, January 31, 2027 at 11:59pm.

• Exams are only available for courses offered in Pleasanton Unified School District.  The fee is $120 per exam.

• You are allowed to test on your own personal device, as long as it is College Board-approved.  Please check the College Board website to see which devices are allowed, and borrow a loaner school chromebook from David Scott in B-25 in late April if you do not have a personal device or a school chromebook to test on (before test day).  Please note, we will not be able to provide tech support for your personal device, but you are welcome to use a personal device and swap out for a school chromebook if something goes wrong with your personal device. 

• Test cancellation requests can be made through the Total Registration website. Full refunds are provided for exams canceled by 11/6/2026 at 11:59 pm.  Exams canceled between 11/7/2026 and 01/31/2027 at 11:59pm are eligible for a $55 refund for each exam canceled. No refunds are granted for any exams canceled after 01/31/2027.
