All students MUST complete the following 2 steps to be fully registered.
|
- 1st step: Students will need to register on the College Board website:
In order to register, students must use the unique join codes you received from your AP teachers (self study students see below). You will need a personal email for each student account (it is not recommended to use PUSD Gmail accounts). Each teacher and each teacher’s period has a specific join code for the course AP exam. If you don't already have a College Board account, you will need to make one. If you plan to take multiple AP exams, you will need a specific join code per course per teacher, per period.
Self study students taking the exam only option please read the PUSD registration flowchart carefully. You must pay first on Total Registration in order to get your AP classroom codes.
- 2nd step: Students must also pay for the exam on the Total Registration site:
www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/052497 Follow the PUSD registration flowchart to ensure your registration is complete. If you already created an account last year, please use the same account log in and email.
-
If 2 exams are given at the same time, we will notify the student which exam will be taken during the regular testing window and which exam will be taken during the alternate testing window.
-
Conflicts must be pre-approved for late testing and a late fee will apply. Requests can be made through https://tinyurl.com/PUSDlateAP
-
Students qualifying for the free/reduced lunch program are eligible for a fee waiver. Complete this form PUSD Child Food and Nutrition Services and print or email the approval letter to Mr. Valencia (wvalencia@pleasantonusd.net).
-
Specifics room assignments, arrival times and testing materials will be provided in the spring of 2026.
- Make-up (late) testing will occur Monday May 18th, through Friday May 22nd. See the above table for the late testing window. If a student is unable to sit for their exam, it is the students responsibility to communicate with their AP Coordinator before the exam start time to request a make-up exam. Make up exams are not guaranteed and may require a doctor's note.
