Advanced Placement Exams May 2024

Things to Bring to the Exam

  1. Picture ID
  2. 2 or 3 Sharpened #2 pencils with erasers.
  3. Pens with black or blue ink for free-response questions.
  4. A watch in case the room's clock is not easily visible.
  5. Up to two calculators if you are taking Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Statistics, or Physics exams.  Go to www.collegeboard.com/ap/calculators for the allowed calculator type for your exam and a list of approved graphing calculators.
  6. A ruler or straight edge for the Physics exam.

Things NOT to Bring to the Exam

  1. Cell phones, SMART watches, or other listening devices.
  2. Books of any kind.
  3. Scratch paper.  (It will be provided)
  4. Watches that beep
  5. Food.  (Water only is permissible)

 

All morning exams begin promptly at 8:00 AM.  All afternoon exams begin promptly at 12:00 PM. Students are expected to arrive at the testing location 30 minutes before the start time and to be back in class by 12:30 after a morning exam.  Students will be dismissed from classes at 10:30 for afternoon exams.  This will allow you to have lunch before the exams.

You are responsible for informing your teachers in advance of when you will be absent from their class for an exam.  

You are responsible for finding your own transportation to the exams.
