Instructions for AP Exams at Shawnee Mission South

1. Be on time!  The examination will start at the scheduled time—not later.
2. Check your email close to AP as important information will be sent out
3. If you have an afternoon exam, eat first lunch.
4. Bring: 

(1) A CHARGED computer.  Outlets will not be available for exams.  You may not be able to test if your computer isn't fully charged.

(2) your own watch to keep time for yourself (no electronic watches),optional

(3) an acceptable calculator, if you plan to use one, and spare batteries

(4) a jacket- it gets cold!

(5) a pencil and black or blue ink pen for scratch paper

(Check in advance to make sure yours is allowed.)

1. Do NOT bring:

1. books, dictionaries, notes, compasses, rulers, straightedges
2. scratch paper (notes may be made on portions of the exam booklets)
3. any devices (including watches and CELL PHONES) with recording devices or photographic capabilities
4.  food or drink of any kind

6.  Before July, sign up for an account at apscore.org.  Your scores will not be mailed and you may only access them through your College Board account WITH your AP number.  (You should have a photo of your AP number from pre-administration.)
