West Bloomfield High School's AP Policy

ALL EXAMS IN 2025 will utilize ONLINE TESTING.  Each student will need to make sure that their device (Chromebook or laptop) is correctly uploaded with the most recent version of College Board Blue Book testing program.  WBHS will have all testing students check this during March/April.   Each student will receive more specific information when they receive location information in March/April --  including reporting time and room location.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM:

  • A school photo ID or a government-issued photo ID, like a passport or driver's license.  THIS IS MANDATORY.
  • Test timing will be available to all as part of the Blue Book program,  but a student may bring a watch that does not beep or have an alarm -- no smart watches.
  • The Blue Book testing program also provides immediate calculator support.  You can also bring up to two approved calculators with the necessary capabilities if you are taking the AP Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics Exams.  Visit apstudent.collegeboard.org/apcourse to find the calculator policy for your subject.  For a list of approved graphying calculators, visit www.collegeboard.org/ap/calculators.
  • A ruler or straightedge  may be needed only if you're taking an AP Physics Exam.  Protractors are not allowed.
  • WBHS will be following the up-to-date guidance on distanced seating as established by the CDC and Michigan Department of Education.
