Fort Collins High School's AP Policy

At Fort Collins High School, we are proud of our exemplary Advanced Placement Program and look forward to the May 2024 Advanced Placement exams as an opportunity for our students to demonstrate their outstanding academic prowess.

The calendar for the May 2024 AP Exams is currently available on the FCHS webpage under Programs, Advanced Placement. Information regarding testing locations will be added to the calendar by the end of March. As in the past, exams will take place both on and off campus, so students and parents are encouraged to review the calendar as the testing window approaches. The morning exams begin promptly at 8:00 am. Students are required to arrive no later than 7:30  am. The afternoon exams begin promptly at 12:00 pm. Students are required to arrive no later than 11:30 am.

Calculators are required and/or allowed for the following exams: AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics B and C, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, and AP Biology.  Be sure to check with your AP teacher to ensure that your calculator is College-Board approved.

Cell Phones and other electronic equipment (laptops, tablets, MP3 players, IPods, cameras, etc.) are NOT permitted in the exam room. Please leave these items at home or in your car.

Students are expected to bring with them: several sharpened No. 2 pencils, pens with black or blue ink, and a watch.
