PSAT/NMSQT - Fall Exam Registration

SFUSD will be hosting the 2026 PSAT/NMSQT at Lowell High School for SFUSD students on two dates. Students choose only one of following two test dates: Monday, October 12 (Indigenous Peoples Day school holiday) or Saturday, October 17; both dates starting at 8:30 am, ending by 12 noon.
 
Registration is open to all 10th and 11th grade SFUSD students until September 30, 2026. The cost is $18 for SFUSD students. No cost for only SFUSD free and reduced lunch students in the 11th grade, pending manual waitlist processing of the F/R lunch verification. 
 
Students must answer all of the questions on the following pages in order to complete the exam registration. A confirmation page indicates that the exam registration process has been successfully completed. Payment must be completed in order for your exam to be ordered. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. If you already have a Total Registration account from registering for AP exams or the PSAT in the past, scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the "Login Here" link next to "Have you previously registered?".

Registrations that are not paid by Wednesday, September 30, 2026, will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.
Refund policy: The last day to cancel an exam for a full refund is Sunday, September 27, 2026.

What to bring for SFUSD's 2026 PSAT/NMSQT test administration at Lowell High School:
1. Physical picture ID – must be this school year's (‘26-’27) or last school year’s (‘25-’26); valid driver’s license, or a valid passport.
2. Fully charged SFUSD-managed Chromebook.
3. Optional PSAT-approved calculator (There is a Desmos calculator embedded in the Bluebook app.)
Note: A PSAT/NMSQT test card WILL NOT show up on your Bluebook app when for this test administration because the PSAT/NMSQT uses unique paper login tickets for each student. Don't worrry, as long as you register and pay here, you will be all set.

You will receive an email from Mr. Fong approximately a week before your exam date with login and password credentials to complete the Bluebook app readiness process. There is a practice test on the Bluebook app that you can acccess now using your College Board email and password. To launch the Bluebook app on a SFUSD-managed Chromebook: Log out of the Chromebook, click on "Apps" in the lower left corner, and then select Bluebook from the popup menu.
