AP exam registration is only available to students enrolled in Stillwater Area Public Schools. The online registration window is Sept. 3 - Oct. 22, 2019.
The cost for a 2020 AP Exam is $54 per exam. However, a per exam late fee will be assessed for all registrations received after Oct. 6th. (In consideration of implementing a new exam process for families this year, we have adjusted this date from what was originally published in the letter mailed home early Sept).
Students who annually qualify for free or reduced lunch are eligible for a fee waiver. Free or Reduced Lunch Program families should sign-in to Total Registration and complete the process. The registration is put into a wait status until qualification is verified (usually completed within 24 hrs). Once verified, an email confirmation will be sent to the student registration email account indicating any balance due.
We recommend that you and your student complete the exam registration process together. Students will need to identify their AP course teacher and class period for each exam ordered. By providing email addresses and cell phone numbers for students and parents during registration, you will receive important AP test administration information and reminders by email and/or text. A confirmation page indicates that the exam registration process has been successfully completed. Please review your registration information for accuracy. Changes to registration after Nov. 15th could incur additional fees.
Stillwater Area Public Schools is excited to offer families the ability to pay their exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration.
Registrations made after 10:00 AM, Monday, Oct 7, 2019 will incur a $10 late fee per exam late fee per exam.
Registrations made after 11:59 PM, Sunday, Oct 13, 2019 will incur a $20 late fee per exam late fee per exam.
Any registration requests received after Nov. 10th may be placed on a wait list for review.
Please NOTE: The College Board will charge districts $40 for any registrations accepted after Nov. 15th. Any exams cancelled after Nov. 15th will be charged a $40 fee. These costs will be passed on to families.
Registrations with a balance due after Nov. 14th will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.
Before we can order AP exams, all students must "enroll" their exam/s through their College Board account. Enrollment occurs when students access their AP classroom/s with a specific join code supplied by their teacher/s. AP teacher/s may have already assisted students with this process during the first few weeks of school. The majority of students take the end of the course exam. If your student is choosing NOT TO TAKE A PARTICULAR COURSE EXAM, you must email the AP Coordinator, Patti Pratt at email@example.com by Oct. 22nd.
