ATTENTION! Students and guardians should complete these steps together. This is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed in order to register for AP Exams. The entire process (both steps) can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes.

1. Enroll in all your AP courses and exams through College Board's MyAP system.
2. Submit payment through Total Registration.

Students taking AP Exams at Half Moon Bay High School must (1) have enrolled in the class through MyAP and (2) submit payment here by 11:59 pm, March 6, 2026[$40 fee for late registration: between October 15, 2024 to February 28, 2026]. The 2026 AP Exams cost $115 per exam. You are not required to take the AP Exam if enrolled in an AP course, but highly encouraged.

A confirmation page indicates that you have completed the required steps through Total Registration. Reminder: exams will not be ordered unless both steps are completed [registration for the exam in MyAP and payment submitted through TR].

Half Moon Bay High School is excited to offer families the ability to pay their exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration.

AP Exam Registration Timeline:

AP exams registrations that are not fully paid by Wednesday, October 15, 2025 will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.
