Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed to order AP Exams. The entire process (both steps) can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes.

Two-Step Registration Process: Register/pay on Total Registration & Join Exam on MyAp College Board

The following two steps must be done to ensure your AP Exams are properly registered and paid for.

STEP 1) Register here on Total Registration and pay for your AP Exams:

• Students must answer all of the required questions.
• Pay at the time of registration or by the payment deadline, Monday, Nov 3, 2025.
  (Payable by credit or debit card, or by mailing a personal or cashier’s check, or money order to TR)

NOTE: You do not have to pay at the time of registration. You have until Nov 3rd to make your payment, so registering early is highly encouraged to avoid the late fee!

STEP 2) Log in to MyAP and join your AP Classroom(s): http://myap.collegeboard.org

If your teacher has already given you a join code and you’ve joined the AP Classroom, you don’t need to join
again. However, you should still check your College Board account to make sure it says "Yes"; for taking the
exam—some accounts show this by default, but not all, so it’s important to confirm

• If you haven’t received a join code from your teacher and joined your exam, you will receive it in your confirmation PDF after you have registered here on Total Regisration.

A confirmation page indicates that the first step has been completed. The confirmation page will include the information needed to complete the second step of enrolling courses/exams in the College Board's system, MyAP.CollegeBoard.org. This step should be completed right away as exams will not be ordered if both steps are not completed.

AP Exam Registration Timeline:

• Sep 15, 2025 12:01 AM     Registration Begins,  Fee: $109 per exam
• Oct 25, 2025 12:01 AM     Start of Late Registration window ($40 late fee/exam),  Fee: $149 per exam
• Sept 15 - Oct 25, 2025     *For Reduced Fee Eligible Students* Registration window, Fee: $5 per exam -  Free or Reduced eligibility will be verified by your College & Career Advisor. (If you haven't done so already, submit a Household Income Form, to determine eligibility. This form can be completed on AERIES Homelink, https://net.mdusd.org/parentportal/. Your College & Career Advisor will get in contact with you if further documents are needed to confirm eligibility.)
• Oct 31, 2025 11:59 PM     Registration Ends
• Oct 31, 2025                      REFUND POLICY: Last day to cancel an exam for a FULL refund of the exam fee. Late fees are not refundable.
• Nov 03, 2025                     Final Payment Deadline
• Mar 6, 2026                       REFUND POLICY: Last day to cancel an exam for a PARTIAL refund of the exam fee. Late fees are not refundable.

AP exams registrations that are not fully paid by Monday, November 3, 2025 will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.
